The SOG Zoom series offers lightweight, compact folding knives that utilize the SOG Assisted Technology, delivering a blade that opens quickly with press on either of the dual thumb studs. Stalwart stainless steel liners support hard anodized aluminum handles for a strong, durable foundation with contoured finger grooves for a secure, comfortable grip. This version comes with a satin finished, plain edge CPM-S30V stainless steel blade and gray aluminum handles with carbon fiber inlays.

Blade: High performance, American CPM-S30V stainless steel is finished with a bi-direction machine satin for a striking look and excellent performance. A spear point profile is executed with a false edge and high hollow ground recurve edge to provide exceptionally powerful piercing and slicing performance while retaining good toughness. Aggressive jimping on the thumb scoop insures a safe and secure grip during heavy use. Powered by a coil spring mechanism the blade deploys with lightening quickness via the dual thumb studs for ambidextrous operation.

Handle: Lightweight and durable, the grad hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handles have been contoured for comfort and have milling and finger grooves for a secure grip. Reducing weight, enhancing traction and providing added style, both sides of the handle are outfitted with milled carbon fiber inlays. A simple yet robust button lock mechanism delivers secure lockup with a slide safety on the spine to avoid unintentional deployment while carrying yet allowing for fast deployment when needed.

CPM-S30V: A powdered stainless steel with high levels of edge retention and corrosion resistance S30V was developed specifically for use in knife blades. The powdered process gives it a very refined grain, improving the sharpness and toughness. S30V is a great, all around steel with balanced performance.
