Winner of the "Overall American Made Knife of the Year" for 2016, the Spartan Harsey Folder is now available in a special edition "Kraken" graphic. This collaborative effort features Bill Harsey's signature styling combined with premium materials and Spartan's precision fit and finish. Comfortable in-hand and ready for hard use this version features a black PVD coated S45VN blade, bronze anodized hardware, and verdigris green-over-bronze anodized titanium handles with deep engravings: a kraken and ship at sea on the front and a solitary kraken on the back.

Blade: A classic, utilitarian drop point blade is made from CPM-S45VN with a top swedge and high saber grind for balanced performance and durability. Finished with a black PVD coating the blade resists wear and corrosion and is discreet in use. Riding on rugged bronze washers the blade deploys fast and smooth via dual titanium thumb studs. Aggressive jimping on the thumb ramp offers added traction and a point for indexing.

Handle: Ergonomic handles have been constructed from 6AL4V titanium with deep engraved graphics, a two-tone anodized finish, complementary hardware and Spartan engraved clip insert. The back titanium slab forms an integral frame lock mechanism for reliable lock-up in hard use conditions. Custom anodized titanium barrel spacers, handle screws and oversized pivot/over travel stop complete the construction.

Carries via a reversible titanium Spartan Arrow pocket clip.
