The 2016 "Overall American Made Knife of the Year" award-winning Spartan Harsey Folder is now available in a special edition blue anodized "Saint Michael the Archangel" graphic on hand rubbed satin titanium. This version features a stonewashed CPM S35VN blade with an amazing engraved handle: a Saint Michael the Archangel graphic on the front and a "Defend Us In Battle" on the reverse all in a detailed, blue anodized laser engraving. This collaborative effort features Bill Harsey's signature styling combined with premium materials and Spartan's precision fit & finish. Mid-large in size, the folder is very comfortable in-hand and ready for hard use.

Blade: Traditional drop point, stonewashed CPM-S35VN stainless steel blade has dual anodized titanium thumb studs making opening from either side a breeze. Bronze washers construction at pivot delivers smooth opening and closing of the blade. Jimping along the thumb ramp adds traction for serious use. The blade is visually appealing while offering modern performance in this custom tactical folder.

Handle: Ergonomic handles have been constructed from satin finished 6AL4V titanium which have been adorned with highly detailed, blue anodized engravings. The show side has a large coverage representation of Saint Michael the Archangel, patron Saint of the Airborne and Infantry, slaying the dragon engraved in fine detail and anodized blue. The front also features a satin finished "Spartan" engraved clip insert. On the reverse side is a matching engraving of a prayer to St. Michael: "Defend Us In Battle". Blue anodized titanium barrel spacers, hardware and a satin finished, oversize pivot bring the two pieces together. The back titanium slab forms an integral frame lock mechanism for reliable lock-up in hard use conditions with internal lock-bar stabilizer.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up, anodized titanium pocket clip with Spartan Arrow embellishment.

CPM-S35VN: Designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V, S35VN substitutes niobium for vanadium delivering an increase in toughness of about 15-20% with no appreciable loss of wear resistance. Increased toughness means better resistance to edge chipping. Corrosion resistance is on par with S30V.
