The 2016 "Overall American Made Knife of the Year" award-winning Spartan Harsey Folder is now available in this special edition Satin "M4 Rifle" graphic. This version features a black PVD coated CPM S35VN blade with an amazing engraved satin finished handle: an M4 Rifle with cartridges graphic on the front and a script from the First Amendment on the reverse on a hand rubbed satin background. This collaborative effort features Bill Harsey's signature styling combined with premium materials and Spartan's precision fit & finish. Mid-large in size, the folder is very comfortable in-hand and ready for hard use.

Blade: Traditional drop point style CPM-S35VN stainless steel blade has dual titanium thumb studs making opening from either side a breeze. Bronze washers construction at pivot delivers smooth opening and closing of the blade. A black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) PVD coating offers a durable, non-reflective and corrosion resistant finish for enhanced performance and discreet use. Jimping along the thumb ramp adds traction for serious use. The blade is visually appealing while offering modern performance in this custom tactical folder.

Handle: Ergonomic handles have been constructed from 6AL4V titanium and finished with a hand rubbed satin with detailed engraving. The show side has a full coverage, M4 Rifle and cartridges engraved in fine detail with a "Spartan" engraved clip insert. The reverse side has a script text from the First Amendment. Black PVD titanium barrel spacers, hardware and oversize pivot bring the two pieces together. The back titanium slab forms an integral frame lock mechanism for reliable lock-up in hard use conditions with internal lock-bar stabilizer.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up, titanium pocket clip with Spartan Arrow embellishment.

CPM-S35VN: Designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V, S35VN substitutes niobium for vanadium delivering an increase in toughness of about 15-20% with no appreciable loss of wear resistance. Increased toughness means better resistance to edge chipping. Corrosion resistance is on par with S30V.
