Horkos is the Greek personification of the curse that will be inflicted on any person who swears a false oath. The Spartan Blades Horkos was commissioned by the Combat Weapons Team of the US Military Academy (West Point, NY) to honor the graduating class and the oath they take. This is a streamline combat knife that delivers serious performance with a high-speed, low-drag design. This version comes with a Black DLC coated Magnacut blade, black Canvas Micarta handles and Black Kydex sheath.

Blade: The CPM-Magnacut Harpoon Tip blade has a mid-height saber grind with a tapered top swedge which delivers a very strong tip for piercing with a good combination of cutting performance and durability. The Black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) PVD coating leaves a highly wear-resistant finish that is both non-reflective and resistant to corrosion to enhance performance. Jimping on the thumb ramp offers more control with a generous finger choil for a close grip for fine work. The Horkos is well-balanced in the hand and discreet in use.

Handle: The full tang extends through two contoured and cross textured handle scales made from Black Canvas Micarta. The handles deliver a comfortable and ergonomic platform for a secure grip capable of serious utility and defensive use. A paracord lanyard is already attached for added security during serious use while the exposed tang at the pommel offers an impact tool.

Sheath: Carries in a custom molded Kydex sheath with MOLLE compatible Pull-the-Dot soft loop backer.
