Spartan Blades' first collaboration with knife maker Les George (BLADE Show 2014 Collaboration of the Year) makes a statement by taking a classic combat dagger design and giving it the Spartan treatment. This is a classic V-14 Dagger delivered in premium, modern materials for the best of both worlds. This version comes with a Flat Dark Earth PVD coated blade, OD Green G10 handles and tan Kydex sheath.

Blade: The double edge, dagger blade has been vacuum heat treated, double deep cryo-treated and double tempered for edge retention and toughness. All four bevels are hollow ground symmetrically and the blade has a durable and non-reflective FDE ZrN (Zirconium Nitride) PVD coating. Full tang, 1/4" thick CPM-S45VN provides solid performance with optimal durability.

Handle: The full tang extends through two contoured and textured G10 handle scales that are tough, light and nearly impervious to the elements. The handles deliver a comfortable and ergonomic platform for a secure grip and has dual flats that run parallel to the blade for low-light indexing. The exposed tang at the pommel can be used as an impact tool.

Sheath: Carries via a Kydex sheath with Pull-the-Dot soft loop dangler.

CPM-S45VN: An evolution in Crucible's S30-series, S45VN shows improved edge retention and corrosion resistance relative to S35VN and offers an upgrade to Elmax with better hardness, corrosion resistance, toughness, and sharpness with similar edge retention.
