Spyderco's Delica has been a cornerstone of their daily carry line since its introduction in 1990. Upgrade to the 4th Generation of the Delica lightweight include a 13 mm RoundHole, spine jimping, reinforced blade tip, skeletonized liners, Bi-Directional Textured FRN scales and a four-position screw on clip.

A new twist on the fully flat ground Delica 4 model is the introduction of the iconic Wharncliffe blade profile. Sometimes known as the "Jazzelica" (inspired by Spyderco Forumite, Jazz) the Wharncliffe Delica features a perfectly straight cutting edge and pronounced point for utility and detailed cutting tasks. This version comes with a plain K390 blade and dark cyan blue FRN handles.

Blade:  With a razor sharp plain edge and stunning satin finish the fully flat ground Bohler K390 tool steel blade delivers exceptional edge retention. Wharncliffe blades deliver full power from heel to tip with a fine point for detail work and piercing. Spyderco's ambidextrous Round Hole opener makes for smooth, easy, one hand operation. Present as well is the jimped thumb ramp for added control in both fine and heavy work. Just over 2.5 inches of straight cutting edge makes this an excellent cutting tool you will want to have with you every day.

Handle: Spyderco's Bi-directional textured FRN offers exceptional traction in the hand with contoured edges and an ergonomic design that delivers comfort in extended use. The sturdy mid-back lock design is easy to operate and comes with the Boye Dent further enhancing the security by preventing accidental disengagement of the lock when gripping the handle with heavy pressure. A hole at the pommel end allows for easy lanyard attachment.

Bohler K390: Bohler K390 is high wear tool steel made with 3rd Gen particle metallurgy processing developed to provide the extreme wear resistance and high compressive strength needed in industrial cutting, blanking, and punching operations. K390 offers very high level edge retention, comparable to 10V or S110V, with good toughness. Corrosion resistance is low, similar to M4.
