Skeletonized stainless liners and a sturdy back lock give this working knife a rugged build with lightweight yet durable, high traction FRN for a secure grip. This version comes with a flat ground, fully serrated modified drop point blade of satin finished Bohler K390 tool steel blade and dark cyan blue FRN handles.

Blade: The fully flat ground blade utilizes K390 tool steel for exceptional edge retention with good toughness and some corrosion resistance for a non-stainless tool steel. This steel lends itself to thin, high performance edges like those found on Spyderco's SpyderEdge serrations. The classic Spyderco Leaf-shaped blade delivers excellent slicing performance with a fine tip that handles detail work with ease. A 13 mm RoundHole makes ambidextrous, one-hand operation a breeze even while wearing gloves.

Handle: Tough, lightweight fiberglass reinforced nylon or FRN is equipped with Spyderco's trademark bidirectional texturing offering security in hand with over 4.5 inches of grip area. A classic lock back mechanism offers security in use and pair with the RoundHole opener and 4-Position clip making the Endela fully ambidextrous. Thanks to the slim profile and just over 3 oz weight, the Endela offers an exceptional Edge:Weight ratio.

Bohler K390: Bohler K390 is a cold work tool steel made with 3rd Generation particle metallurgy processing specifically developed to provide the extreme wear resistance and high compressive strength needed in industrial cutting, blanking, and punching operations. K390 is exceptionally tough and free of impurities compared to conventional steels with CPM-10V-level edge retention and increased toughness. As a tool steel, K390 is not stainless and requires consideration to prevent corrosion.
