Spyderco's Endura, big sister to the Delica, has been a cornerstone of their everyday carry line since its introduction in 1990. The 4th Generation Endura lightweight got upgraded with a 13 mm RoundHole, spine jimping, reinforced blade tip, skeletonized liners, Bi-Directional Textured FRN scales and a four-position screw on clip.

This “Thin Red Line” edition honors the selfless and courageous service of firefighters and emergency first responders symbolized by red liners and back spacer along with the laser engraved motto “Save and Serve” on the blade.

Blade: Practical and effective, the modified drop point blade comes in a high performance full flat grind with a versatile, partially serrated cutting edge. SpyderEdge serrations increase the cutting edge surface by up to 24% and make short work of tough, fibrous materials, while the rugged bronze washer pivot provides smooth operation. The ambidextrous RoundHole delivers easy one hand operation.

Handle: Bi-directional textured FRN provides exceptional traction in all conditions with a comfortable, ergonomic design that accommodates large gloved hands. Bright red liners and spacer offer a subtle contrast while the sturdy mid-back lock delivers secure operation, further enhanced by the Boye Dent on the lock bar which prevents accidental disengagement of the lock when gripping with heavy pressure.

VG10: Japanese Takefu VG10 is a high-carbon stainless steel that takes a fine edge and holds it well. Often hardened to 60-61 HRC in high-end kitchen knives, edge retention and toughness are on par with 440C with better corrosion resistance. A solid choice for small pocket knives, an acute, high polished edge delivers optimal slicing performance.
