Where the Mantra has a titanium frame lock construction and CPM M4 blade the Mantra 3 has a composite Carbon Fiber & G10 Compression Lock construction and CPM S30V blade. The Mantra 3 takes every thing you loved about the Mantra and makes it lightweight, high traction and easy to maintain for every day carry and use.

The Blade: A fully flat ground CPM S30V blade deploys on a bearing pivot via an integral flipper or the Spyderco round hole for fast, ambidextrous opening. The satin finished blade rides smooth on the caged ball bearings while jimping on the thumb ramp paired with the flipper tab guard provides enhanced security. Time tested CPM S30V stainless steel offers excellent qualities for every day use including a high level of corrosion resistance for low maintenance operation.

The Handle: This is where the Mantra 3 really takes a turn from the original. A nested liner construction with Carbon Fiber/G10 composite scales make the Mantra 3 both lighter in weight and more secure in the hand. Don't think there is a sacrifice in security here because the Mantra 3 sport the Spyderco Compression Lock for smooth and easy operation as well as a strong and secure lock up. The same open back construction makes for easy cleaning and maintenance. An included tube allows for easy lanyard attachment.

The Mantra 3 comes with a reversible stainless steel wire pocket clip for discreet, tip-up pocket carry.
