The Spyderco Matriarch 2 with Emerson Wave Opener boasts a full Spyderedge reverse 'S' shaped blade mimicking the original Matriarch. The wickedly sharp blade is composed of tough VG-10 stainless steel, has a Spyderco round hole as well as a patented Emerson waved opener for immediate access to the blade right out of the pocket.
A front lock with David Boye dent securely holds the blade open and is also simple to close. The handle is shaped nearly identically to the Endura and is made of comfortable bi-directionally textured black FRN. The Waved Matriarch 2 is completely ambidextrous as the black coated clip can be moved for right or left-handed carry in the tip-up or tip-down position.
