Blade: CPM-S30V blade steel offers toughness and strength. Fully Flat ground with a Plain Edge blade, the Native 5 is a powerhouse for EDC cutting tasks and slices and pierces with confidence. Black DLC coating protects blade from corrosives while also providing a non-reflective finish for tactical purposes. A double finger choil provides multiple grip positions to keep the blade away from fingers.

Handle: Injection molded fiberglass reinforced nylon handle is both lightweight and incredibly durable. Spyderco's bi-directional texturing provides for an excellent, but non-aggressive grip. Full ambidextrous design with centrally located lock back release paired with the Spyderhole opener.

Carries via a black, 4-Position, stainless steel hourglass pocket clip.

CPM-S30V: A martensitic, powdered stainless steel with high levels of wear and corrosion resistance. Its chemistry promotes the formation and even distribution of vanadium carbides, which are harder and more effective at cutting than chromium carbides. This gives it a very refined grain, further improving the sharpness and toughness. S30V is a great, all around steel with high levels of performance.
