The Blade: A classic, long-clip point with a sweeping belly, the ParaMilitary 2 blade shape lends itself to both piercing and slicing tasks of all shapes and sizes. The blade is made from CPM S30V, a fantastic, all-around, high performance stainless steel. The full flat grind enhances cutting performance while the utilitarian straight plain edge is perfect for daily tasks. The over-sized Spyderco Round Hole™ allows for easy ambidextrous opening even while wearing gloves.

The Handle: The scales are made from textured Pink G10, an industrial fiber glass composite laminate, which is tough, lightweight and nearly impervious to decomposition and moisture. The scales are attached to nested and skeletonized stainless steel liners which help to reduce weight while maintaining a high level of strength. One liner forms the high strength Compression Lock mechanism which is easy to operate with either hand and has an exceptional strength to weight ratio. The Para Military 2 carries via the classic, stainless steel, Spyderco 4-Position "Hour Glass" pocket clip which makes this knife fully ambidextrous.
