Blade: Flat ground and satin finished CPM S45VN is a high performance stainless steel that delivers a good balance of edge retention, corrosion and toughness for high-end cutting performance. Equipped with the iconic, trademark Spyderco RoundHole, the blade is fully ambidextrous. Jimping on the thumb ramp and index choil deliver optimal control for fine tasks.

Handle: Diamond Arc textured, Forest Green G10 handle scales are lightweight, durable and nearly impervious to the elements. Nested in the scales are skeletonized stainless steel liners which create the foundation of Spyderco's patented Compression Lock mechanism. The Compression lock is exceptional strong while being lightweight and allows for safe closing of the knife without putting your fingers in the path of the blade. Open back standoff construction provides easy access for cleaning and maintenance with a generous hollow tube for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a 4-Position Stainless Steel hourglass pocket clip.

CPM S45VN: An evolution in the S30-series of steels from Crucible, S45VN shows improved edge retention and corrosion resistance relative to S35V a slight reduction in toughness. Also considered an upgrade to Elmax with similar edge retention but better hardness, corrosion resistance, toughness, and a finer carbide structure (better sharpness).
