Blade: Flat ground, premium CPM-S90V stainless steel comes in the popular straight spine clip profile for excellent performance with a durable black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating that resists wear and corrosion. Equipped with the iconic, trademark Spyderco RoundHole, the blade is fully ambidextrous riding smooth on durable bronze washers. Jimping on the thumb ramp and index choil deliver optimal control for fine tasks.

Handle: Peel-ply textured G10 handle scales are lightweight, durable and nearly impervious to the elements. Nested skeletonized stainless steel liners support the scales and form Spyderco's patented Compression Lock mechanism. Open back construction provides easy access for cleaning and maintenance with a generous hollow tube for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a 4-Position stainless steel hourglass pocket clip.

CPM-S90V: A high alloy stainless steel made using the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (PM) process, CPM S90V offers exceptional edge retention (high wear resistance) with corrosion resistance similar to 440C. Toughness-edge retention balance is high, making this an excellent choice where corrosion resistance and edge holding are key.

Compression Lock: Similar in construction to the Walker Liner Lock, the Compression lock uses a leaf style spring cut into the handle liner. The tang of the spring wedges between the blade tang and stop pin (or anvil pin) for exceptional lock strength, ease of operation and added safety, keeping fingers clear of the blade path during disengagement closing of the knife.
