Details

The Spyderco Reinhold Rhino is aptly named with it's stout impressive strength and raised tip blade. Designed by Michael Reinhold, to be a easy one-handed opening knife in an extremely compact package. This model brings the innovative Compression Lock into the affordable everyday carry realm.

The Blade: Full flat grind CTS XHP blade has a large belly and raised point that brings more available edge area than it's size would suggest. It's under 2.5 inches so it can be legally carried in places with more strict length laws.

The Handle: Radiused Carbon Fiber /G10 laminate has a decent amount of texture for grip with nested liners to keep things clean and neat. A relief cut into the top scale exposes the thumb hole for quick right-handed deployments. Patented Compression lock on the backside is both secure and out of the path of the blade unlike traditional liner locks. Full sized polished stainless pocket clip keeps the knife securely on your person. It's also reversible with tip up carry.

Compression Lock: A lock mechanism that uses a leaf-like spring from a split liner in the handle to wedge laterally between a ramp on the blade tang and the stop pin (or anvil pin). Developed and patented by Spyderco, it provides extreme lock strength and ease of use.
