Part of an ongoing series of folders in the Prestige line, the Sage showcases a variety of different and ingenuous locking mechanisms in an exceptional design. This version comes with the Chris Reeve Integral Frame Lock, flat-ground CPM-S30V blade and solid titanium handles.

Blade: A classic leaf shaped blade is delivered in fully flat ground, satin finished CPM-S30V for a great balance of slicing geometry, piercing capability and durability. A 13 mm RoundHole provides easy ambidextrous deployment on a smooth, phosphor bronze washer pivot. For optimal safety and control during use the jimped thumb ramp and index finger choil duo are unbeatable.

Handle: Dual barrel spacers span the two slabs of solid, bead blasted titanium that form the handle. Exceptionally ergonomic in design, the handle is comfortable enough for extended daily use. One slab of the frame forms the Chris Reeve Integral Frame Lock mechanism, an original, minimalist lock design adopted industry-wide. Functioning in much the same way as a liner lock, the frame lock simply combines the scale and liner into a single piece of solid titanium. Simple in operation and construction, the Frame Lock is reliable and maintenance free.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up only, deep carry wire clip.

CPM-S30V: A powdered stainless steel with high levels of edge retention and corrosion resistance S30V was developed specifically for use in knife blades. The powdered process gives it a very refined grain, improving the sharpness and toughness. S30V is a great, all around steel with high levels of performance.
