Blade: Beefed up for heavier use, the high-height saber grind has enhanced toughness while still providing remarkable slicing performance. Jimping at the spine and index finger choil provide enhanced control for fine work while the fine satin finish offers a classy look. Riding smooth on phosphor bronze washers, the blade opens via the ambidextrous, trademark SpyderHole for easy, one-hand operation. CPM Rex 45 High speed tool steel delivers high end performance but will require care to prevent corrosion.

Handle: Made from fully contoured matte finished Burnt Orange G10, the Shaman's handles were designed with extended use in mind. You aren't going to find any hot spots or roughness on this handle. While the scales are not textured the ergonomic design more than makes up for it providing a very secure in-hand feel. The tapered end, mid swell, and index finger choil all work together to lock the Shaman into the hand. Built on nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners, this knife features the Compression lock mechanism which is smooth, easy to operate, and rock solid for secure use.

Carries via a 4-position hourglass pocket clip with through lanyard hole.

CPM Rex 45: CPM REX 45 (Hitachi HAP40) is a super-high-speed particle metallurgy tool steel enriched with large volumes of cobalt, tungsten, molybdenum and vanadium. Its high cobalt content increases the attainable hardness and enhances the positive properties other elements. The addition of vanadium promotes the formation of vanadium carbides, which provide high wear resistance, fine grain size, and increased toughness.
