The Blade: A hollow ground hawk bill blade comes with a fully serrated SpyderEdge for aggressive cutting performance especially against fibrous materials, rope, line and netting - even when wet. The Spyderhawk delivers excellent performance with the full SpyderEdge serrated blade delivering up to 24% more cutting edge for powerful cutting performance when you need it most. Ambidextrous opening is provided by a 13.5mm trademark SpyderHole offering positive engagement even while wearing gloves.

The Handle: Injection molded fiberglass reinforced nylon handle is both lightweight and incredibly durable. Spyderco's checkered Volcano Grip texturing provides for an excellent, but non-aggressive grip. Full ambidextrous design with mid-back lock release with Boye Dent and reversible (tip-up) black coated titanium pocket clip. The bright orange FRN handles set this Sprint Run apart and make it easy to locate in the most adverse scenarios.

H1: H1 is a low carbon, nitrogen based blade steel that offers ultra high corrosion resistance toughness. H1 is tough because it is work hardening: when grinding the blade edge the blade is hardened (into the mid to upper 60's HRC) while the spine remains softer for toughness.
