The Spyderco SquareHead Dog Tag Folding Knife 193PGY is a squarish dog-tag style folder, hence the SquareHead name. This new collaboration with designer Darriel Caston delivers a more affordable platform for the SquareHead with a lightweight and durable FRN handle scale and a blade of satin finished CTS-BD1.

The Blade: The small blade is chisel ground for excellent sharpness and durability as well as easier sharpening. Simply sharpen the ground edge and strop the burr from the flat side. The blade is now made from CTS-BD1, an excellent EDC steel that has a good combination edge retention, corrosion resistance and ease of maintenance. The blade has an attractive satin finish and an oversize SpyderHole for smooth operation. A double sided custom-style pivot adds a point of visual interest as well.

The Handle:A bi-directional Gray FRN handle scale offers superior traction for this small EDC folder while the inset stainless steel liner comprises the internal backbone as well as the liner lock mechanism. The FRN SquareHead has smooth, solid operation and retains the full width lanyard cutout for carry via neck or pocket lanyards.
