This relatively small and non-locking folder cuts well above its weight especially with Bohler's AEB-L stainless steel as the blade material. Blade: A fully flat ground, Leaf shaped blade is a slicing power house especially when it is made from the high performance Bohler AEB-L stainless steel found in this Sprint Run model. See more on this steel below. The blade is opened via the iconic Spyderco Round Hole and is easy to operate left or right handed.

Handle:  Light weight yet tough Brown FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) provides a secure and ergonomic grip and houses the blade, non-locking back spring, and reversible, tip-up, deep carry wire clip.

Perfect for areas which ban locking knives or have more restrictive knife laws.

Bohler AEB-L: Originally developed for razor blades and described as a stainless 52100 AEB-L takes a very fine edge, is easy to sharpen and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is good with excellent stability (resistance to rolling and chipping) which allows for a thinner edge and better cutting performance. Sandvik 13C26 is a copy of AEB-L.
