Welcome the first Made in the USA Spyderco Salt Fixed Blade, The WaterWay! Designed by avid fisherman, watersportsman and knife enthusiast Lance Clinton (a.k.a. 'Surfingringo' on Spyderco Forums), the WaterWay is a purpose built fixed blade water knife that offers superb performance both in and out of the water. LC200N steel and machine textured G10 come together in a design that works was well gutting fish as it does at food preparation or even wood craft.

Blade: Made from ultra corrosion resistant LC200N steel the fully flat ground, slim, leaf-shaped blade delivers excellent slicing performance while the distal taper of the blade gives the WaterWay a fine tip that works great for piercing and detail work.

Handle: The full tang construction of the WaterWay is clad in contoured and 3D machine-textured G10 handle scales that ensure a secure grip even in wet conditions. An integral guard adds additional security from slipping onto the blade. A generous lanyard hole at the pommel end of the knife allow for the attachment of a lanyard to enhance security when using the knife in adverse conditions.

Sheath: Carries via a secure, molded Boltaron sheath equipped with Spyderco's G-Clip for multiple carry positions.

LC200N: LC200N is a high nitrogen, alloyed tool steel produced using PESR (pressurized electro-slag remelting) technology delivering a pure alloy with fine micro-structure. This steel has been used in knives for some time and even longer by NASA for ball bearings. LC200N offers excellent corrosion resistance, toughness and ease of sharpening with edge retention better than other steels with comparable qualities. Maximum working hardness in 60-62HRC range. Also sold as Cronidur 30 or Z-FiNit (Zapp Fine Grain Nitrogen steel).
