The Steel Will Plague Doctor is a large tactical folder that still provides every day utility for those looking for a robust folding blade. The functional Drop Point blade is thin enough for slicing while being durable for heavier tasks. Made from D2 tool steel and G10 this flipper is tank like in its build and ready for heavy use. This version comes with a Black Stonewashed blade, OD Green G10 scales and Black G10 backspacer and hardware.

Blade: A beefy, 3.4 mm thick, black stonewashed D2 blade has a curving belly along the edge for excellent slicing performance. The full flat grind pairs with a full length swedge delivering a fine yet robust point for powerful piercing performance with a jimped thumb ramp for added leverage. It opens smoothly with an integral flipper tab riding on durable phosphor bronze washers. The dialed in detent offers smooth, snappy deployment.

Handle: Coarse OD Green G10 handle scales offer enhanced traction for grip but smooth and contoured edges provide comfort during use. The deep index finger and thumb scoop cutouts paired with the pommel swell at the handle lock the blade securely in the hand. A black G10 backspacer has jimping along the spine for added security in the hand and a hole for lanyard attachment. Dual, black coated steel liners form the robust foundation of this full-size tactical folder and one liner forms a liner lock mechanism that provides smooth operation and secure lock-up of the knife. This knife is completed with black Torx hardware.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
