Blade: The D2 tool steel blade is capable of some serious cutting with a slim, 3mm thick blade with a high flat grind for solid slicing performance. The blade maintains its thickness out to the clip point swedge where it tapers to a fine tip that offers good piercing and detail work. It opens smoothly on a stainless steel ball bearing pivot via the index flipper tab. Jimping on the spine provides added traction for heavier cutting tasks. The blade is finished in a machine satin for a stylish look.

Handle: Clean, sweeping lines of the G10 handles give the knife a stylish look while providing a comfortable, ergonomic grip with enhanced traction from the milled texture. An index finger cutout gives access to the stainless steel liner lock mechanism; simple, robust and secure, and pairs with the flipper tab to provide a guard to prevent sliding onto the blade. An open back construction with barrel spacers delivers a lightweight folder that is easy to maintain. This version is finished with satin hardware matching the blade.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all-around knife steel.
