The Steel Will Tasso Designed by Anton Tkachenko is an exercise in artful craftsmanship built for the modern man. The Tasso is now available in a more compact Mini revision retaining their patented Ant-lock mechanism but optimized for urban every day carry. The Tasso Mini has an elegant form that originates from the functional design. The Tasso Mini has a satin finished M390 blade, Black G10 handles and a blue backspacer.

Blade: The Bowie-style clip point blade has plenty of belly for slicing and a fine yet durable tip for piercing and detail work. Executed in a pristine satin finish the high height saber grind delivers a good balance of strength and cutting performance while the upper swedge gives the Tasso some style. A small section of jimping right above the double thumb stud openers offers added traction and control. Bronze washers at the pivot make for smooth operation of the blade with dual studs for ambidextrous thumb deployment.

Handle: Smoothed and contoured Black G10 handle scales provide the a comfortable and ergonomic grip and stand up to the abuses of every day use and carry. A pronounced choil offers a subtle yet functional index finger guard while the forward finger choil delivers added control. The Ant-Locking mechanism is mostly hidden in the handle but it is the true star of the show. It operates in conjunction with a hidden back "spring" just below the orange G10 spacer accent; without the need for steel liners ultimately lightening the carry load considerably. The Ant Lock is smooth, ambidextrous and rock solid. Includes an inline pin for lanyard attachment.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
