Details
The Lightspeed is a slender, medium-sized folder which makes an excellent all-around knife and also happens to be the most well-known model from Steve Kelly. This variation of the Lightspeed has a premium CPM-154 stainless steel blade and hard to find Westinghouse micarta scales with a fully tumbled titanium frame.
Knife is brand new, direct from the maker at the 2019 USN Gathering in Las Vegas.
The Blade: The blade of the Lightspeed is made from dependable CPM-154 stainless steel. The upper portion of the blade has been hand-rubbed while the grinds were left with a clean satin finish. Opens via an anodized titanium thumb stud and comes engraved with the maker's name just above the thumb stud on the spine of the blade.
The Handle: Composed with a traditional bolstered look, this folder has titanium bolsters which have been blasted and tumbled and are dovetailed perfectly over gorgeous aged Westinghouse micarta scales. The liners have the same tumbled look and showcase subtle file work along the spine. A milled and tumbled clip with hidden hardware perfectly complements the clean look of this knife. Everything is held together with anodized titanium hardware all made completely in house.
This folder comes packaged with a custom stitched nylon zipper pouch.
