Strider SnG Hybrid Diamond Black G10 CTS-40CP

The Strider Knives SnG Hybrid is a new take on variations of the front and back of the handles. This Hybrid version combines a contoured Diamond-textured G10 front scale with a stonewashed Flat titanium lock side. Considered their medium sized folder, the SnG is most at home in a medium to large sized hand or being used with thick gloves. Carry friendly for day to day while also being heavy duty enough for in field use.

The Blade: With a thick high carbon stainless steel blade, there's not much the SnG can't handle. This model comes with an upper swedged spear-style blade which has been heavily stonewashed, great for hiding everyday wear and tear. These feature a deep jimping on the top of the blade ensuring a secure grip during use. Each knife comes with a hair popping edge and is ready to go out of the baggie.

The Handle: Like most of their folders, the SnG has a combination G10 and Titanium frame. What makes it slightly different from everyone else is that the backspacer, traditionally a separate piece on most production knives, is instead integral to the front scale. Keeping with the hard use concept, Strider used bronze washers and a chain ring bolt construction to secure the blade. Also incorporated is the Hinderer lock bar stabilizer, which prevents the user from overextending the frame. This version comes with a contoured diamond-textured Black G10 scale with black oxide hardware and a fully stonewashed flat lock side. A heavy duty titanium clip is affixed for every day carry.

Carpenter CTS-40CP alloy is a powder metallurgy, high-carbon chromium stainless steel designed to have the highest attainable hardness of any stainless steel after heat treat. It's fine carbide distribution and fine-grained microstructure enhance cutting performance by as much as 40% over equivalent cast/wrought steels.
