The Tidioute 38 Special from Great Eastern Cutlery is a slim gentleman's knife with modern flare. It goes to great lengths to provide the user with as much purchase and cutting performance it can pack into its slim frame. This one is outfitted with glorious Red Linen Micarta handle scales.
Brand new item direct from Great Eastern Cutlery.
The Blade: A clean, cunning regular clip for the 38 with a nick opener below the swedge and over 2.5 inches of cutting edge. The curves of the clip fit this design well. It will serve the user greatly in overall daily utility cutting while being easy to sharpen. Pristine satin finishing as always from GEC.
The Handle: Toothpick inspired engineering features a wider top half than bottom providing a steady grip between the thumb and forefinger. It's nearly four inches of handle fills the palm nicely without taking up too much real estate in the pocket. Its slimness is spot on. Brass liners and pins construction with popular red linen micarta scales attached between the bolsters. A flush nickel silver "hot dog" shield is pinned to the front.
The 38 Special ships rolled up in protective wax paper inside a Tidioute labeled tube with company information on the front.
