Description:

The GEC Journeyman Electrician's Knife is an interesting piece of cutlery. Built with a purpose in mind, the JEK is still a useful knife for anyone who isn't cutting or stripping wire. Solid brass liner and pin construction combine with safety orange jigged delrin handles for a hefty in-hand feel. The E blade functions as a wire stripper, cutter, scraper, and flat-head screw driver. The two sheepsfoot blades offer the ability to use one for hard cutting and one for lighter use, meaning you'll always have a sharp blade to fall back on.

Brand new, directly from Great Eastern Cutlery.

1095 Carbon Steel: Popular, simple carbon steel used extensively by production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear (edge retention) due to low carbide content and easy to sharpen to a fine edge. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care. Some makers use a differential heat treat process which delivers a harder edge and tougher spine for enhanced performance.
