The Tidioute #35 Cattle Knife from Great Eastern Cutlery is a premium example of the classic three-blade Jack knife pattern with a generous symmetrical handle and modern, all steel build. This version comes with satin finish carbon steel blades (spear, Spey, and Sheepsfoot), steel liners and bolsters and ox blood jigged bone covers.
Brand new, direct from Great Eastern Cutlery. (1) Knife Per Household, please
Blades: The large spear point blade is flat ground 1095 carbon steel with a fine satin finish and "Cattle Knife" etch. All three blades open smooth with no half stop via a long pull on the spear and nail nicks on the Spey and Sheepfoot blades. This trio offers plenty of utility for a variety of tasks.
Handle: Handsome ox blood jigged bone covers provide traction and a warm, timeless feel in the hand while being durable for daily carry and use. Pinned to stainless steel liners the scales are framed by polished stainless steel bolsters matching the Tidioute Propeller shield.
1095 Carbon Steel: A simple, extensively used carbon steel with low edge retention and corrosion resistance. Easy to sharpen to a fine edge.
