The Pocket Bowie is a custom clip point fixed blade from maker Tom Krein. A classic, Bowie-style fixed blade designed with Krein's signature ergonomic handle and performance oriented hollow grind this clip point hunter makes a great outdoor EDC knife and cuts well above its weight class. This version comes with a satin finished Nitro-V stainless steel blade and Green Linen Micarta handle scales with speed hole milling and black Micarta pins.

Blade: The iconic clip point blade of the Pocket Bowie delivers full-size cutting power with Tom's performance-driven geometry in a more compact, easy to carry package. The satin finished Nitro-V blade is hollow ground to deliver a very fine edge that provides excellent cutting performance while retaining durability at the spine. The clip point swedge tapers to deliver a fine tip for piercing and detail work. An integrated index guard pairs with Tom's iconic handle design and spine jimping for security in the hand. The 2.5 inch blade and sub-6.5 inch overall package make this a great companion for outdoor field work or everyday carry.

Handle: Ergonomically designed, polished Green Linen Micarta handle scales are contoured for unparalleled comfort in the hand with speed hole milling for enhanced traction. Shaped with two subtle finger grooves, the handle design locks the hand in without compromising versatility for multiple grips. The scales are attached via two black Micarta pins and a hollow lanyard tube.

Sheath: Carries via a custom molded Kydex sheath with large Tek-Lok.

Nitro-V Stainless Steel: Essentially AEB-L with added Nitrogen and Vanadium, Nitro-V is a very fine-grained, easy to sharpen steel with good edge retention and excellent edge stability allowing a thinner edge and enhanced slicing ability. Nitrogen greatly improves corrosion resistance.
