The TK-3 Whitetail Hunter fixed blade from custom maker Tom Krein is an iconic fixed blade design with Krein's signature ergonomic handle design and cutting performance oriented grinds. This drop point hunting knife is a slicing powerhouse offering nearly 3 inches of razor sharp cutting edge while Tom's blasted Camouflage G10 handle provides comfort and control thanks to his pommel swell design.

Blade: The drop point blade of the TK-3 offers the performance of a full size hunting blade with the maneuverability of a bird & trout knife. The Satin Finished D2 tool steel blade hollow ground to deliver a very fine edge that provides excellent cutting performance while retaining durability at the spine. A top swedge tapers to deliver a fine tip for piercing and detail work while aggressive jimping on the spine provides added traction in adverse conditions. The full tang construction is beautifully satin finished with the Krein Knives Logo and D2 marked on the blade. An integrated index guard pairs with Tom's iconic handle design and spine jimping for security in the hand. While technically a hunting design the TK-3 is fully functional as an EDC or woodcraft fixed blade as well.

Handle: Ergonomically designed, Blasted Camouflage G10 handle scales are textured and contoured for traction and unparalleled comfort in the hand. The curving, neutral handle design locks the hand in without compromising versatility for multiple grips. The scales are attached via a single pin and oversize hollow lanyard tube.

Sheath: Ships in a custom-fit black Kydex sheath with large Tek-Lok for carry.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
