The Backup offers plenty of cutting edge for small tasks and the edge is nearly all belly extending the functional cutting edge and making it a great option for a small skinning knife.

The Blade: The Backup is made from differentially heat treated 1095 High Carbon Tool Steel offering a blend of cutting performance and toughness. The curve of the blade extends the actual length of the cutting edge beyond the 2.5" blade length. The blade has a nearly full height flat grind for optimal slicing performance and comes with an acid etched and tumbled finish that hides wear and offers a bit of corrosion resistance.

The Handle: The full tang construction is skeletonized for a slim and light weight package, coming in at just over an ounce total! The holes in the handle offer plenty of traction as is or you can add a paracord wrap for added grip and comfort during use. The compact design lends itself to a variety of grip options making it a truly multifunctional design.

The Sheath: The Backup comes with a custom molded Kydex sheath for secure carry.
