Details
The TOPS Tahoma Field Knife, now with Black Canvas Micarta, was built with the outdoor professional in mind. Designed to be multi-functional all the while reducing weight enough for a comfortable carry. The Tahoma Field Knife is up for the task, big or small.
The Blade: Double edged at the tip (2.75 inch secondary edge) is a nice feature that can be used as a secondary cutting edge when sharpening is not available. A notch on the spear point blade can be used to pull a pot out of the fire or break wire. The design of the finger choil allows choking up on the blade for fine cutting work. Black River Wash finished full tang extends past the handles in the shape of a pry bar for even more utility.
The Handle: Bolted-on canvas micarta scales have dual spindle sockets for left or right-handed bow drill operation. Not only does it have a traditional lanyard hole but also an auxiliary one at the thumb ramp to accommodate a wrist lanyard or help in lashing to a spear. Includes a combat ballistic nylon sheath with protective insert and storage pouch with buckle closure.
Brand new model from TOPS Knives.
