TOPS Knives Mountain Lion was designed in collaboration with members of the 10th Mountain Infantry Division and built for use in the harshest of conditions. The beefy carbon steel blade with black traction coating and contoured black and green G10 scales delivers a knife equipped for hard action, robust and ready to fight and win anywhere in the world.

Blade: The beefy 1/4" thick carbon steel blade is black traction coated for a durable, non-reflective and corrosion resistant finish. The mid-height saber grind provides a good balance of durability and cutting performance enhanced by the recurve cutting edge and satin finished top swedge.

Handle: The full tang construction supports hand filling scales of contoured black and green layered G10 over contrasting red liners. The scales are tough and weather resistant with an ergonomic design that lends the Mountain Lion to extended, heavy use. The generous finger guard delivers added security while the forward finger choil provides added control for fine work.

Sheath: Carries via a MOLLE compatible black nylon belt sheath.

1095 High Carbon Steel: Highly popular, simple carbon steel. Used extensively by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but very tough and easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care. TOPS utilizes a differential heat treat process which delivers a harder edge and tougher spine.
