Designed by Anton Du Plessis, the TOPS Silent Hero was built for the hard use required while combating the poaching crisis in South Africa. The Silent Hero 4 takes the same design and scales it down for a compact, daily carry friendly footprint while retaining a solid build well suited to a variety of tasks. This version comes with a 1095 carbon steel blade with Sniper Gray Cerakote coating, black canvas Micarta scales over red liners, and a Kydex sheath.

Blade: The carbon steel drop point blade comes with a durable Sniper Gray Cerakote coating for a discreetly non-reflective and corrosion resistant finish. A thinner 1/8" blade stock offers enhanced slicing performance while the saber grind delivers balanced durability. Jimping in front of and behind the thumb ramp gives purchase and control regardless of the task at hand.

Handle: The full tang construction supports hand filling scales of contoured black canvas Micarta over red liners for traction, comfort, and style. The scales are tough and weather resistant with solid ergonomics for extended use. A deep choil, forward guard and jimped thumb ramp deliver security during heavy use.

Sheath: Carries via a Kydex sheath with scout carry beta loops.

1095 Carbon Steel: A simple, extensively used carbon steel with low edge retention and corrosion resistance. Easy to sharpen to a fine edge, 1095 can be differentially heat treated (hard edge/soft spine) for optimized performance.
