Blade: The carbon steel blade comes with a durable black traction coating for a discreetly non-reflective and corrosion resistant finish. A less tactical 3.4 mm blade stock offers enhanced slicing performance while the saber grind delivers balanced durability. Jimping on the spine pairs with the large choil for optimal control in heavy slicing.

Handle: A full tang construction delivers balanced heft for effective chopping with a deep index choil and downward curve at the pommel for a sure grip. Attached with hollow brass pins the canvas Micarta scales provide traction when wet and are durable for heavy use. Includes backcountry essentials: liquid filled compass, Fresnel lens, marking tape, signal whistle, and stainless steel carabiner.

Sheath: Carries via a MOLLE compatible nylon pouch sheath with removable flap.

1095 Carbon Steel: A simple, extensively used carbon steel with low edge retention and corrosion resistance. Easy to sharpen to a fine edge, 1095 can be differentially heat treated (hard edge/soft spine) for optimized performance.
