Trash Panda Knives is a collaborative project including custom knife makers Aaron Frederick, John W Smith and CJ Smith that offers extreme hard use knives that are built to use and take on whatever you can throw at them. The F Off is a compact, robust fixed blade with a Wharncliffe blade that lends itself to both utility and martial use. The F Off carries like a small knife but cut like a big one. This version comes with a hollow ground, stonewashed CPM-3V blade and red & black G10 handle scales.
Brand new directly from Trash Panda Knives.
Blade: The straight edge, CPM 3V Wharncliffe blade is finished with a rugged stone wash that hides wear from heavy use the F Off is sure to see. A mid-height hollow grind delivers excellent, razor-like slicing performance while retaining thickness at the spine for durability. A swedge tapers the blade to a fine, piercing point.
Handle: The full tang blade supports a generous, hand-filling handle of blasted and contoured red & black G10. The handle cants down from the blade which forms an integral guard providing protection against the fingers sliding onto the blade. The pistol-like grip allows for a close and secure grip for all manner of tasks. A large hole is provided for lanyard attachment.
Carries via a large Tek-Lok equipped, custom molded Kydex sheath.
About CPM-3V: is a high carbon alloy steel that extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance. The edge can be ground thin as it is tough enough to support a fine edge. 3V delivers the highest level of toughness while maintaining good edge retention.
