Designed by prolific Danish custom maker Jesper Voxnaes and produced with precision by Viper Knives, the Katla is a gentleman's tactical knife perfect for everyday carry for those who want to do the hard work without sacrificing style. High performance Bohler M390 comes in a 4 mm thick modified Tanto profile that can tackle harder tasks with ease while retaining control for finer tasks. Available in several blade finishes and handle materials, this rugged yet stylish liner lock flipper is sure to please. This version comes with a Stonewashed blade and Green Canvas Micarta handle scales.

Blade: Made from 4 mm thick Bohler M390, the modified Tanto blade offers a solid balance of cutting performance and durability. Deploying fast and smooth on stainless steel thrust bearings, the blade can be operated with the index flipper tab or dual thumb studs. A high saber grind slices well while the clip point swedge and Tanto point provide exceptional piercing power and good control for detail work. A crowned spine offers a high class touch while the rugged Stonewashed finish pairs well with the Micarta scales.

Handle: Dual, stainless steel liners support tough, high-traction Green Canvas Micarta handle scales. With clean, simple and ergonomic lines these handles are classic Voxnaes design and feel great in the hand. A deep index cut out pairs with the flipper tab guard to offer excellent security while providing access to the smooth and reliable liner lock mechanism. CNC machined phosphor bronze is used for the pivot collars are partial back spacer for a subtle visual contrast. A generous hole is provided in the back spacer for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, titanium deep carry pocket clip.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end, user grade knives thanks to its high level edge retention and exceptional corrosion resistance making it very low maintenance. It also resists burr formation for greater ease of sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and CPM-20CV.
