The model 909B Syncro from WE Knife Company is a robust, integral frame lock flipper that is slim enough for every day carry but built tough enough to operate as a hard use tactical folder. High performance materials like American CPM-S35VN blade steel and 6AL4V Titanium complement the clean, aesthetic design that still delivers ergonomic comfort and performance for use. This version comes with a gold anodized handle and stonewashed blade.

Blade: The Stonewashed CPM-S35VN blade rides on a ceramic ball bearing pivot for ultra smooth, fast deployment via the integral flipper tab. The blade is a robust 4mm thick with a straight spine down to the razor sharp, compound ground tip. This blade is durable for serious use while being fast and maneuverable for finer work. Fullers run down either side of the blade adding a touch of style to this highly utilitarian blade. When closed the blade is nearly engulfed by the handle for a slim footprint.

Handle: The Integral handle design has clean lines with a subtle coffin shape, a central milled groove and diamond texturing for superb traction. CPM S35VN: was designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V. It is also easier to machine and polish than CPM S30V. The inclusion of Niobium allows for the formation of niobium carbides along with vanadium and chromium carbides. Substituting niobium carbides for some of the vanadium carbides makes CPM S35VN about 15-20% tougher than CPM S30V without any loss of wear resistance. CPM S35VN’s improved toughness gives it better resistance to edge chipping.
