The model 906CF Arrakis was the predecessor to the Isham Eschaton design and though they were not produced chronologically you can easily see the similarities in design. This eclectic design produced by WE Knife Company is a limited edition production designed by Elijah Isham that is out of this world. The Arrakis utilizes the same unique design to creates an integral folder that delivers a full-size titanium construction in a sub 4 oz. package. This version of the futuristic folder has a black stonewashed finish Bohler M390 blade and Carbon Fiber overlay on Champagne 6AL4V Titanium scales. This highly stylized yet functional design is limited in production making it ideal for collectors and users alike.

Blade: A modified Wharncliffe blade of Bohler M390 rides on a ceramic ball bearing pivot for ultra smooth, fast deployment whether via the integral flipper tab or the skeletonized blade cutout. The blade forgoes any unusual grinds and sports a full length top swedge and mid-height hollow grind that offers a beautiful blade that cuts like a dream with an ample cutting edge for all your every day needs. A rugged and discreet stonewashed black coating finishes the blade grinds with a bright satin highlights the flats. The full size choil provides exceptional control for fine tasks.

Handle: The handles are even more striking in the design and construction with the skeletonized pattern in the blade cutout flowing into the handle for a futuristic or alien-like appearance. Despite the unusual visual style of the handles they are highly comfortable and ergonomic with a smooth, integral construction that is not only strong but stylish and comfortable. The milling and cutouts of the carbon fiber-on-titanium handles helps reduce weight and add traction in the hand with an index finger cutout that enhances security and hides the index flipper when the blade is deployed. An inset steel liner delivers smooth operation and worry free lockup with minimal addition to the weight. Champagne titanium hardware keeps it all together.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. M390 also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid problems by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
