Custom knife maker Allen Elishewitz (USMC Recon Ret., martial arts practitioner) specializes in tactical blades. The Press Check is his first collaboration with WE Knives and offers a tactical design with premium materials and precision construction. This Tanto version comes with a silver bead blast CPM-20CV blade and matching titanium handles with blue and black G10 overlays.

Blade: The recurve Tanto blade offers powerful slicing with a flat primary grind and piercing tip with a long harpoon swedge. A silver bead blast finish is handsome and discreet with deep dual fullers for style. The ceramic bearing pivot delivers fast flipper deployment and smooth operation.

Handle: Integral titanium frame and bolsters pair with layered G10 overlays for a solid handle with good traction and comfortable contours. The index flipper guard delivers added security while the steel lock face equipped frame lock provides seamless operation and solid lockup for safe use. Matching blue G10 pivot collars add some subtle style while an exposed back spacer functions as an impact tool. Includes two clips for ambidextrous carry.

Carries via a titanium deep carry clip.

CPM-20CV: CPM-20CV (analog to M390 and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. Relatively easy to sharpen, the coarse microstructure gives this steel lower toughness.
