Zero Tolerance 0357 Working Finish 20CV Black G10 SpeedSafe Flipper

The in-house designed Zero Tolerance 0357 SpeedSafe Flipper was built to function as your new all-around, dependable everyday carry user. The harpoon-style drop point blade offers plenty of belly for slicing and is made from premium, American Made CPM-20CV stainless steel. Tried and true stainless steel liner construction supports G10 handle scales that are built to last through the hardest use regardless of the environment. The slim 0357 stays light on its feet and is swift as an arrow. This version comes with a Working Finished blade and black G10 scales over gray liners.

Blade: CPM-20CV was chosen as it is the premium of wear resistant, American Made stainless steels on the market today. Combine that with relative ease of sharpening and you have an excellent choice for serious daily use. A functional, harpoon-style drop point has an extra pointy tip for piercing tasks and fine work with tip to heel belly for slicing. Subtle jimping towards the rear falls into a comfortable thumb scoop for controlled work while a forward scoop allows for added leverage on heavy tasks. A blasted and heavily tumbled Working Finish aids in hiding scratches from use while being less reflective than a standard stone wash. The blade rockets out of the handle at a moment's notice via a small flipper tab at the spine of the handle.

Handle: Coarse black G-10 scales have been contoured and safely secured to thick, stainless steel liners. This handle will resist the elements and any bumps or bangs along the way. It provides a comfortable, secure grip in nearly any condition. A strong knife requires a strong lock for secure use during the most minor to most difficult cutting task. ZT used one of the beefy liners for a simple lock that is easy to operate and dependable. A section of the two-tone back strap is exposed near the end with cut out lanyard loop for customization.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up only, deep-carry stainless steel pocket clip.

CPM 20CV: is a highly wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless tool steel, an analog to Bohler's M390, and offers some of the best corrosion resistance and wear resistance in combination with a relative ease of sharpening. These properties along with a working hardness in the low 60s HRC make 20CV a prime choice among custom and production makers.
