The El Héroe Micarta small fixed knife by Boker Arbolito knives is the perfect go-anywhere size to tackle the day to day. Based on Hungarian knife maker Péter Farkas' original design, the El Héroe is a stout little blade that carries horizontally on your belt. Strong, convenient and concealable.

The Blade: This full tang is thick, .16 inches, for its size and means business. It's a fully flat ground clip point perfect for daily use crafted from premium Bohler N695 stainless steel for exceptional edge retention and corrosion-resistant properties. The surface of the steel features a dark, heavy stonewash that not only looks cool but will hide use and abuse. Its spine has right about an inch of jimping where your thumb feels right at home. It will be a nice slicer with nearly three inches of working cutting edge.

The Handle: Thick black linen micarta handle scales are bolted over red fiber liners to the tang. They are smooth, but not slippery and contoured in all the right spots for a comfortable grip when you need it. There is enough of a small guard to protect your fingers while cutting with jimping on the bottom and top of the steel for more grip. It includes a lanyard hole for personalizing at the bottom.

The El Héroe Micarta ships with a black leather belt sheath for horizontal carry.
