Boker Knives Turbine Rosewood Inlay Flipper 110130

This is the big boy, original version of the Turbine Flipper from Boker Knives. Crafted in Germany using razor sharp X-15T.N. ball bearings steel, gunmetal grey handle scales and a gorgeous rosewood inlay.

It comes to us brand new directly from Boker Knives.

The Blade: A classic spear point design, bead-blast finished and offering over 3.5 inches of tactical, practical cutting edge. Nitrogen-alloyed stainless X15TN is the staple Turbine steel. Originally manufactured for use in the aircraft industry for jet ball bearings and scalpels for the medical industry. It has the ability to resist corrosion in some the worst conditions, maintain a good edge and easily re-sharpen to its shaving original condition. It has dual thumb stud or integral flipper notch speedy deployment. It tends toward the weaker end on the detent spectrum thus potentially needing a bit of wrist action when utilizing the flipper. 

The Handle: Gunmetal grey anodized AlMgSi1 German aluminum alloy keeps the weight down with increased strength coming from the coloring process. Inlayed into the front of each handle is a textured piece of rosewood aiding in grip and style. The grip is friendly enough for medium-large sized hands. Inside the back slab Boker has inset a steel liner locking mechanism. This keeps the knife solid during cutting chores and houses the detent ball. Closing accents are open barrel spacers construction and a lanyard pin near the end to attach your favorite cordage. 

The Turbine comes with an installed tip down pocket clip and Boker Tree clip insert for reversible tip up/down carry, presentation box, proprietary pivot/hardware tools and microfiber baggie.
