The all-new Tighe Fighter custom model direct from maker Brian Tighe means business. It's a bit stockier and trends more toward the tactical end of the spectrum for Brian's designs. The handle is more palm-filling and the blade stock is a whopping 0.19 inches thick. A Tighe Fighter Flipper is beefy, but Brian keeps this beast a lightweight carry under 5 ounces.
The Blade: A compound ground drop point-styled blade means excellent utility cutting with tough endurance. The swirls and clean, shiny pattern of this Damasteel is breathtaking. Brian's signature appears on the front while it's outfitted with dual thumb stud or integral flipper deployment. Silky smooth operation thanks to Brian's ceramic ball bearings STBS (Sealed Thrust Bearings) system.
The Handle: 3D machined black G-10 with green glow inlay pattern on both sides is too cool. No liners needed thus reducing the weight considerably. It's well-balanced with finger grooves that just lock into your hand. Stepped texturing throughout for a solid grip. A satin, ridged titanium backspacer has a large lanyard window cut out exposed at the bottom takes it up a notch. Near the top a large button lock controls the secured cutting.
The new Tighe Fighter from maker Brian Tighe is another home run. It's modern, dramatic and sophisticated looks will have you coming back for more. Included is a satin titanium Tighe signature pocket clip with ceramic ball retention for tip up carry and a signature zipper pouch.
