Byrd Knives are designed by and produced for Spyderco, Inc in China. The Byrd line is representative of everyday working knives at a sensible price point. The production of byrd Knives is closely supervised by Spyderco, Inc. They use high quality components, such as Sanvik 8Cr13MoV stainless steel in their blades and G10, stainless steel, or lightweight FRN handles. The comet shaped thumb hole is the Byrd knife trademark.
