The aggressive clip point blade shape paired with the hollow grind and Veff Serrations make the Fossil 5473 a force to be reckoned with. Tumbled and faux hammer finished stainless steel scales paired with black and grey G10 overlays give this knife a modern and stylish look while calling to mind the forged tools of our distant ancestors. The IKBS bearing pivot makes this knife fast and smooth in operation and keeps the Fossil ready to take on what ever cutting tasks life sends your way.

The Blade:  The aggressive clip point blade shape makes this knife a powerful piercing tool. It has the same great hollow grind for powerful slicing capabilities with the enhanced performance provided by the aggressive Veff Serrations. This knife tears through the toughest cutting tasks no matter the material. The thumb scoop on the spine makes putting pressure on the blade for forceful cuts more comfortable. Thanks to Flavio Ikoma's IKBS bearing pivot the Fossil Compact opens fast and smooth via the index flipper or the eye-like thumb hole. 

The Handle: The unique, hammer finished look of the Fossil gives this knife an old world style while the stainless steel and G10 materials give it modern performance. Contoured on the edges for comfort during long use the milled texture on the G10 overlays and ergonomic design of the Fossil provide excellent security in the hand. A stainless steel frame lock mechanism gives smooth and secure operation when in use.
