The Blade:  The Fossil Compact has been upgraded with an aggressive clip point that makes this knife a powerful piercing tool. It has the same great hollow grind for powerful slicing capabilities and the thumb scoop on the spine makes putting pressure on the blade for forceful cuts more comfortable. Thanks to Flavio Ikoma's IKBS bearing pivot the Fossil Compact opens fast and smooth via the index flipper or the eye-like thumb hole. 

The Handle: The unique, hammer finished look of the Fossil gives this knife an old world style while the stainless steel and G10 materials give it modern performance. The milled texture on the G10 overlays provide excellent security in the hand and a stainless steel frame lock mechanism gives smooth and secure operation when in use.
