CRKT Rune Tactical Axe RMJ Tactical 2737

Designed by Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical in Chattanooga, Tennessee the Rune Tactical Axe 2737 is the perfect tool for the modern Viking. The Rune is built from a solid piece of SK5 high carbon tool steel with tough, Glass Reinforced Nylon scales for a secure grip in any situation. The Rune is ready at hand to deploy from its secure, Glass Reinforced Nylon sheath for both utility and defensive applications. 

The Head: The Rune Tactical Axe is made from a solid piece of SK5 high carbon tool steel (53-55 HRC) with a non-reflective Black Powder Coat finish. The full tang construction allows the Rune to be thinner than a traditional axe improving chopping performance without sacrificing toughness. The forward edge has just over 6 1/2" of cutting edge and a cutout near the handle that allows you to choke up on the blade for fine tasks. The rear of the Rune has a sharpened spike poll that gives you the edge in tactical situations. 

The Handle: The Rune has a full tang handle with Glass Reinforced Nylon scales that have plenty of texture for a secure grip without having any hot spots. The tang extends from the scales making the handle feel more contoured in the hand without adding any additional material or weight.

The Sheath:  The included MOLLE Compatible Glass Reinforced Nylon Sheath w/Buckle Strap provides secure carry with a variety of mounting options.
